The AF8R Work is a powerful and highly versatile area light designed for demanding professional users. Delivering up to 4,000 lumens, it features five brightness levels, an IP67 rating for complete dust and water protection, and a rugged aluminium housing built to withstand intensive daily use. In addition, the AF8R Work stands out with a range of innovative technologies and advanced features.
At the heart of the lamp is Ledlenser's new Multi-Concentrated Light Concept, introducing an entirely new approach to light distribution. Instead of using a single large central LED, the AF8R Work features a unique waffle-pattern LED array consisting of numerous small LEDs. Because each LED operates at a lower output, the system consumes 12% less energy than previous generations. Combined with the improved battery, this increases runtime by up to 50%. Each LED is equipped with its own reflector, creating a more concentrated and efficient beam that delivers 35% more illuminance (lux) at the same light output (lumens). This also significantly reduces peripheral glare, creating a more comfortable working environment.
The integrated Tunable White Light Feature allows you to manually adjust the colour temperature across five different levels, ranging from warm to cool white light, ensuring the ideal illumination for every task.
The innovative Hybrid Power system enables the AF8R Work to operate on either battery power or mains power without compromising its waterproof performance. When connected to mains power, the lamp can operate continuously while simultaneously charging the battery, even at the highest brightness setting.
For maximum flexibility, the AF8R Work features powerful integrated magnets for secure mounting on metal surfaces. It also includes a diffuser/protective cover, providing a softer, more uniform light output while protecting the LED panel from damage. The lamp is powered by a Li-ion battery (4,700 mAh / 50.76 Wh), which can be recharged using either the included waterproof 220V charger or via USB-C. Additional features include Transport Lock to prevent accidental activation during transport and a protective carrying case. Optional accessories include a 5-metre extension cable and a Bluetooth remote control.
